Photo Hunt Hands

PhotoHunters

When I started browsing for some "hand shots" I did not realize how many I had. It was really hard to decide which ones to include. Most of my shots are hands of children. So here goes - some of them ...

Farm hands - My class went on a field trip to a farm. Here is one of my students trying her hands at grinding corn to make some animal food. Other farm hands wait their turn...

Feeding hands - after grinding the corn, we get ready to feed some goats...

Garden hands - My kindergarten class is starting an edible garden so here we start ....

Wildlife helping hands - A while back a naturalist came to visit my classroom with some rescued wildlife... here is one she shared with the children ....

Waving/ flying hands - the naturalist asking the class to "shake their wiggles" by "flying like the eagles"

... to another favorite blog topic - my family -

Helping hands - My son's helping hands during his nephew's (my grandson) "martial arts" class...

I think you have had enough... so here is my grand baby blowing a kiss

Goodbye hands -

Barb Cabot:

Love the blowing kisses one! Our hands, we take them for granted but they do so much for us, don't they? Often working with physically challenged students I am reminded daily the precious gifts of well functioning bodies. Sometimes simple tasks like holding an object or taking a step without any thought is monumental for someone with physical disabilities.

Eden - wonderful hand shots. I love the way kids get so engaged - they ahven't learned to try and 'be cool'!

great sets of hands shot! I love the first one!

What great selections you have there, Eden. Your photos are full of words and emotions.

Blowing kisses...the very best use of hands! Great pics.

Looks like it was a very hands-on field trip and that everyone had a lot of fun.

These are all wonderful shots! I can't choose a favorite...love them all! I have a few similar ones from my class also. Great post.

Wonderful collection of hands, Eden! The last one is so adorable and sweet.
