Fun Airline Safety Precautions

A week ago today, I was on my way to Norman, Oklahoma. Tired after teaching Kindergarten, I headed to the airport on my way to a marathon of reading grant proposals for the U.S. Dept. of Education's, Office of Indian Education. (A group of us are brought together around this time every year to do this task ...)

After boarding my flight at Mineta International Airport...(in San Jose) the flight attendant started the flight safety instructions.... notice the red balloon... :)

While the flight attendant was going through the obligatory safety precautions, a "Balloon Man" who was on board started mimicking her using his balloon creations as his props ...

Some of us who were within view were entertained, laughed, and enjoyed the shenanigans... inspite of air turbulence...

I love flight attendants with a sense of humor... she had to show everyone else what the laughter up front was about!

This little girl became the beneficiary of the balloon sculptures!

At least this leg of the flight was not boring... :)

LOL what a memorable flight! Love this post. :)

If it was a fun flight it had to be on Southwest, right?

Marcia:

I love that airline, can always count on them for a mood lift, in addition to the other more serious things one looks for when flying.
