Purple sorrounds me, it turns out. I did not have a difficult time looking for stuff.. .there was purple all around ...
At home... inside the house -
This was a present from a friend - here is the orchid up close.
Easter leftovers-
Outside - front yard - purple iris
I am not sure what this plant is called - someone said potato tree? ... certainly not a potato plant.
Some purple even at work... ice plant in front of the school.
And this one looks lovely even if I do not know its name -
Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Purple Day!

Beautiful shots! I'd be happy to have some more green in my garden right now - the riot of colour coming later . . .

Such warm, lovely purples!! We don't even have grass in yet; still too cold. Nice photos.
I did purple, too. I hope you have time to see! http://newyorktraveler.net/photo-hunters-purple/

Lovely flowers. The last flower is my husband's favorite. We try to grow it up here in Seattle and it is way too cold. He has to baby it. He'd be so jealous to see how big it is near you.

Love the iris! I used to have those potato trees on my front porch in San Carlos.

Gorgeous purples! I’ve seen the potato tree one here in Arizona. It is similar to one named desert sage. They bloom all through the summer.

Lovely orchids! I, unfortunately don't have a green thumb when it comes to orchids. So, thanks, for letting me see their simplistic beauty through your photo! Have a super weekend, menehune
