This is an interesting topic. There are stripes all around us and I was more and more aware of them as the weekend approached.... But what to post? Hmmm, maybe I can start with this
A Bad Case of Stripes - This is one of my favorite children's picture books:

This wonderful children's picture book is about a little girl is so concerned with everyone's opinion of her. She stops being herself and spontaneously becomes whatever anyone calls her, whether purple polka-dotted, colorful like pills in a medicine bottle or as striped as the flag. Children love this story. Colorfully illustrated and interesting turn of events keep children's interest in this book.
On to my favorite blog subject. Here is my "striped" grandson reaching out for some holiday spheres....
The carboholic in me thinks these rows constitute stripes. What do you think?
Thanks for visiting today's striped blog.

Great pictures. I've never heard of that book but then I don't have little ones around anymore.

All are perfect choices. The carboholic picture made me smile. I could do with a nice warm loaf right now.

My daughter and I love this book. I don't even recall where we picked it up but we used to read it all the time. It's become quite popular in the past few years.
