Taking a week off from summer school, and do nothing was a perfect self-prescription for an overworked kindergarten teacher. Marriott villas proved to be the perfect place for it! Check out my home away from home this week.
Granting that I could not get away from the Michael Jackson craziness / media mania, I decided that I could put up with anything when I am at a pretend state of retirement. :)
Here I am at this hot place - perfect for sun and heat loving me!
It looks like a true place in the desert... but the desert scenery stops there, I think.
Is this a cool sign or what? :) ..> says it all for me.
This is the area where our state's water go - ok just kidding - friends from the valley. There are fountains like this all over the valley. Beautiful!
Not that desert-looking to me -
The villas -
One of many pools....
Yes, I had to share the pools with many others. I offered this timeshare to some relatives (from So. Cal.) a couple of years back.
They said they did not like it because they had to share the pools with many others... I do not mind... But then there is no accounting for my taste... LOL

Sounds good to me. We're heading to Palm Springs sometime this fall, staying at Racho Mirage and I can't wait!
