Little bit of France in Little Italy

While on a visit to San Diego's Little Italy, we visited their open market and found little bit of France throughout the few blocks the market covered.

There was this Creperie.... long lines here....

I don't know about the Macaroons but let it be known that Caterina de Medici brought "crespelle" to France. The french refined them and crepes were born. Still it is of Italian origin.

I’ve been to San Diego’s Little Italy many times but never on market day. I’m going to have to schedule a visit to coincide with it.

Angie, I consider myself corrected. :)

My daughter, friend, and self really enjoyed walking around the open market. Too bad we could not take many things with us. :)

I also would have been able to buy more while there. Such great food choices!
