It is March! My class will welcome March with this Math/ Graphing lesson.
Each student will choose a picture of either a lamb or a lion. They can color their clip art, if they wish.

The student will then decide if March is coming in like a "lion" or a "lamb" by placing their chosen photo on this graph.

Then our Math lesson will be comparing and contrasting which (guess) is higher or lower than the other... Language lesson will be explaining or writing why they choose the ones they have chosen. Good critical thinking skill, for kindergarteners, don't you think?
Did I put you into a boring stupor? Perhaps your clip art is more of this kind.... a yawning lamb and lion. :)

It is coming in like a lion here in Hawaii. We are now under a high wind alert. It is going to be very blustery all week long.

Happy March! This is a cute lesson. It's coming in like lamb today here in NC, but there's snow in the forecast for tomorrow night, so the lion isn't too far behind.
