Covered - Many of us take cover from the elements. I noticed that in Asia, women and or girls take cover from the sun!
Last summer, after seeing many covering themselves from the sun, I finally took the camera out to take photos of women and their umbrellas.
I noticed that men did not really mind the summer sun, but the women sure did.
Probably a smart practice to protect themselves from skin cancer... So here are more "covered" - all from about an hour walk on an afternoon in HongKong. A pink covering -

Here in Australia, we don't use umbrellas in the summer except as huge beach umbrellas! Lots of caps and hats here under the sun!

umbrella really helps. hey, i've been to this street before:D happy to see it again. it's somewhere in Kowloon.

I saw this a lot in Singapore also. I think it is smart. We've done it on hiking also before. It helps. I just need to get a different umbrella. Mine is black so it is really warm. Some that I saw had a shiny interior that looked like it helped to also keep the heat off.
