Off to Philadelphia for Staging...One long afternoon of registration where we officially became Peace Corp Trainees. June 10th is now here and I am sitting at JFK airport with my PC peers waiting for 4:30 pm to board our flight. We are a group of 65 from different walks of life, different age groups all super excited to get to Moldova and start training.
Training will be for six weeks and will be very hectic. We hit the ground running when we get to Chisinau with long days and lots and lots of information. It will be great though and we are all up for the task at hand.
So... off we go. Next post will be from Moldova.

Congratulations on your adventure! In my little town in Italy we have quite a few people from Moldova, living and working. They all say life in Moldova was difficult. Very nice people. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful experience.
