lava flowing into the ocean

I was very fortunate to witness the lava flowing into the ocean on the Big Island in 1986. I am not sure the exact number of times this has happened since Kilauea began to erupt in 1983. The lava is once again flowing into the ocean.

I am posting a link to a video of the lava flowing into the ocean and two photos, each of which are linked to articles on the recent lava flow.

I would love to be over there right now getting to see the new lava flow!

Amazing photos!

My upcoming trip got cancelled last week. Maybe Alessandro and I will go together again later in the year.

Love the lava pics!
