I am waiting for a taxi to take me to the train station as I write this. I will be in Coccaglio for the weekend and then I head back home. I am not sure if I will have time to write more...if not, I will finish my trip happenings when I return home.
Thanks again for all of your comments and for being patient with me regarding I am guessing many spelling errors and grammatical errors. I loved Bologna and also had a wonderful lunch with my friends in Empoli....

Hi Girasoli, hope your train ride to Coccaglio goes well. I want to say that it was so much fun reading your posts about your experiences and following your journey to all those wonderful and beautiful towns. From the train rides . . . . to the hard hat tour . . . wonderful pizza and gelatos . . . . and friends along the way . . . . it was awesome to follow along.
For someone who sadly won't be traveling to Italy this year it has been great to follow along. I definitely want to visit SML and Portofino and some of the other places you wrote about . . . maybe on my Italy 2009 trip! :)
Of course, I'm hoping for another post but if not I wish you a very safe and easy ride back home to the Islands!
