Stunning! And very cool - this is one of the churches that claims to have an icon of Mary painted by St. Luke (I blogged about those icons a while back).

Finding this gorgeous elegant church at the end of that long hike is a fabulous prize. I hope one day to make it there. I'm intrigued by the painting in the last photo.
