Can you believe it? Election day is only a day away. Some of you will probably be happy that my political blogging is almost over. I wasn't always successful in keeping it to one political post per week but at least I tried to keep it positive as much as possible.
For one of my last political posts, I decided on another inspiring video. I found this video by searching Bruce Springsteen.
Description: "After combing through thousands of images from the Obama '08 campaign, this video sums up the desire for change we so desperately need in this country. The song is by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band."
Obama/Biden '08

Hi Girasoli, very cool video. And I love Bruce! Just one more day! I actually couldn't sleep last night thinking about how big tomorrow is for us! Hey, maybe all this lack of sleep will allow me to sleep on the loooooong plane ride on Thursday! :) Ha, ha!

Kathy, I love Bruce also! I saw him on TV at a rally in Ohio yesterday. It almost brought me to tears watching the people in the crowd - it was HUGE! I have been on 4-5 hours of sleep a night and am exhausted. What airline are you flying? Do you have a layover somewhere and are you flying a red eye? That always helps me sleep at least a little.
Annie...sooo close now!! whoops...my ride is here! gotta go!

Hi Girasoli, I just got done voting and it was so exciting! I'm headed to work now and feeling pretty good! I leave Thursday afternoon on Lufthanza and so it is not a red eye. I usually will sleep because I have to take a dramamine for my motion sickness. Not sleeping well these past few days I think will help me to sleep like a rock on the long flight (I hope). I have a 3 hour layover in Frankfurt then on to Madrid! Whoo Hoo.
Take care of yourself and have a speedy recovery!

Kathy, glad had an exciting voting experience!! Good luck staying on task at work today. Wow, that sounds like a tough flight! I hope you sleep a little. I am doing well. Thanks for your well wishes :)

Carver, thanks for stopping by :) I have been pacing already! I can't concentrate at all. I have decided to wear my lucky blue Red Sox shirt today (wore it both times they won & didn't wear it this year so it is still lucky). GO OBAMA!!! I hope NC turns blue!!

Girasoli, I'm feeling restless and v. excited about tonight, too.
As Palma said on her blog, you are all part of history in the making. Actually, as a citizen of an ever-shrinking world, I feel a part of this as well. And it feels really great!
