Happy Holidays everyone!!
I took these photos on Monday at Honolulu Hale (Honolulu's City Hall).
To see more photos of Honolulu Hale, as well as photos of the Kamehameha Statue and Iolani Palace, click on...
A close up of the tree:

The entrance to Honolulu Hale (excuse the signs, the car, and the security who
seem to be more busy chatting than doing their job, although I am sure if I tried
to move the signs, they would have jumped right into action):
Inside Honolulu Hale:
Nearby, the Kamehameha Statue (it is hard to see, but there are a few leis on the statue base):
and the Iolani Palace (I loved the paper lanterns for the holidays):

Mele Kalikimaka to you too Girasoli! These are wonderful photos and I love the leis, ukelele and hula decorations ! Thank you so much for writing such great blogs throughout the year. I have learned so much and have enjoyed reading your posts.
I want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Girasoli! We'll break open the Champaign (or should I say Prosecco) bottle for you over here in Califronia to start the New Year Celebration in 2009 to kick things off, then I'm sure you'll carry on the Celebration over in Hawaii for us. Should be a fun and interesting year!

I thought you'd have that pic of the shirtless Obama on the beach all photoshopped to look like Santa!
Have a wonderful Christmas - all the best in 2009!

Jerry, your comment cracked me up. Being the next president is the gift Santa brought to me and millions of others. No need having him shirtless on my blog :) He has already hit enough internet sites that way.
Thanks so much Palma! You too!!
