Awww, how adorable! :)

That IS so adorable -- you had such curly dark hair! And quite the doll collection. What a wonderful video for you to have. (I'm afraid most photos of me at that age showed me using dolls as weapons against my brothers!)

Thanks for sharing this, it really is beautiful. Hope you had a merry little Christmas.

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Merry Christmas Girasoli, you are so adorable. You look like you were a loved and happy child in that video. You must have such wonderful memories of those years especially during the holidays. Actually watching your childhood video made me tear up a little. I have such fond memories of my childhood too and your video just brought those wonderful memories back. Thank you so much for allowing me to remember them . . .

I'll be off line for a few days since my sister and her family will be visiting and I want to wish you and your family a very wonderful New Year!

I really enjoyed your video. The Christmas tree looked so familiar with the tinsel and white skirt around the bottom. I loved the baby doll that was bigger than you. Do you remember anything about the Christmas?

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all of your kind comments.

Leslie, I think this was my cutest year.

Sandra, It seems I did have a lot of dolls although I don't remember most. I probably started using dolls as weapons once my brothers were born. My hair was very curly as a child (since the day I was born!). It has lightened over the years from the sun.

Kathy, that is so sweet. I have great memories of Christmas as a child. I am not sure though which year my memories start since some of my memories might be more from watching our old movies over and over. I hope you have a fabulous time with your sister and her family.

Marta, I also love seeing the tree in this video. It brings back wonderful memories. I don't really remember anything about that Christmas though. I am very grateful to have the video.

I had the same reaction as Kathy - I'm all teary too watching this! Utterly too adorable for words, especially at the end when climbing onto the bed and then cradling the doll. I was born in '64 so this really brings back memories for me too. I had one of those walking dolls - mine's name was Swingy. Oh nostalgia...what sweetness it holds. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video and how lucky you are to have it!

Anne, that is so sweet! I loved the ending part also :) It is interesting for me to watch this also as an early education teacher watching my development at two-years old. I wish I could remember that big doll I had when I was little. For some reason, I don't think I had it very long.

This video is so sweet and adorable. Like Kathy, it brought back memories of my own childhood. I had two of those walking dolls and they were taller than me. One was blonde and the other one brunette. How wonderful that you have this video and thanks for sharing.

Have a fantastic week!

Maria, isn't it interesting that so many of us have similar memories even though we all grew up so far apart? I just wish I could remember the tall walking doll in the video. I only remember my barbies and my bullwinkle doll (in another video) from my early childhood years. Thanks for the nice comment :)
