how well traveled are you?

After reading Kim's What Metal Are You? blog post, and taking the quiz myself (I am also copper), the website sucked me in as I spent quite a bit of time taking many of the other tests. Funny thing is, Anne did the same thing.

I only saved the results of the test below, although I do remember that I was a calculator for the What Office Supply Are You? test and blue state for the Should You Live in a Red State or a Blue State? test. I took the red/blue state test to check the *reliability* of these tests. :)

Your Travel Profile:
You Are Well Traveled in Southern Europe (47%)
You Are Well Traveled in the Western United States (47%)
You Are Well Traveled in the Northeastern United States (43%)
You Are Somewhat Well Traveled in Canada (40%)
You Are Somewhat Well Traveled in Western Europe (36%)
You Are Mostly Untraveled in Asia (8%)
You Are Mostly Untraveled in the Southern United States (8%)
You Are Untraveled in Africa (0%)
You Are Untraveled in Australia (0%)
You Are Untraveled in Eastern Europe (0%)
You Are Untraveled in Latin America (0%)
You Are Untraveled in New Zealand (0%)
You Are Untraveled in Scandinavia (0%)
You Are Untraveled in the Middle East (0%)
You Are Untraveled in the Midwestern United States (0%)
You Are Untraveled in the United Kingdom (0%)

I'm not sure how I scored so high in Canada. I have only been to Quebec, Vancouver, and Victoria and Victoria was not even on the list. It is obvious I have neglected quite a few areas, including the Midwestern US. So many places and so little time...and Italy always on my mind. I think I need to win that lottery soon so I can quit my job, travel year round, and score a little higher on this test.

This is so cool, girasoli. I think I will take this test and post. Thanks for sharing. I know a February blogger who would score HIGH for Scandinavia. :)

sandrac:

Very interesting, Girasoli -- can I tag along when you head off to travel the world?

Seriously, very good scores. For Canada, if you've seen the West Coast and Quebec, that's pretty good -- a nice range of cultural experiences. And you're certainly an expert on Italy!

I'll have to try this test, thanks!

You can never be TOO well traveled! I suffer from the "Italy always on my mind" dilemma too.

The "win the lottery" experience sounds like a fine plan to me too. :)

jgk:

Well, of course, I had to take the quiz, then, too. I think winning the lottery is a good plan!

Great Quiz. I posted the results on my blog. I can't believe it thought I was well traveled in the mid-west. Wrong!

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Girasoli, cool test! Yes a nice lottery win to retire early would definitely get those scores up, although it does look like you are pretty well traveled already. Very high scores in Europe. Very nice!

Hmmm , now I feeling like playing the lotto!

Fun post!

Eden:

It looks like a great survey/ quiz. I do not think I am well traveled at all. Maybe I should take the quiz and post it at a later date. :) thank you

candi, I think it would be interesting seeing your results since you have lived so many different places. Yep, I think I know just who you are talking about :)

sandra, sure thing! Well, I was in Quebec when I was a kid. I only really remember that they were shooting a TV series there and my brother kept grumbling about wanting to go swimming at the pool (not even sure if there was a pool at our hotel) and Victoria and Vancouver are pretty close together, so there is quite a bit of Canada I have yet to see. But I guess I have seen more of Canada than many people have.

Annie, I wonder if there is such a thing, except for of course the super rich that spend all of their time traveling...and even then, do they really travel or just get pampered at hotels. Only problem with the lottery thing for me is that we need to get one here in Hawaii first! They are talking about it this year with our horrible economy but I doubt it will pass.

Jan, looking forward to seeing your results.

marta, it was fun seeing your results. At least you have been to the midwest! I have only been in airports (which doesn't count).

Kathy, I still have lots of places I want to visit, including more of Europe. I think I was just lucky being in the places on the quiz.

Eden, you should try it! It is an easy post when you are stuck with needing something to write about and it is interesting seeing where other people have been.

Mahalo for the post -- think I may try it...hmmm could be the impetus to visit a few new places...M

Cool test! I'm going to take it and post the results later.

menehune, interesting seeing your score.

María, it's an easy post and fun too!
