Hi Girasoli, great photos! The colors are so bright and vibrant. Bologna may be moving up my list as I type my comments here!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful photos! Hope you have a great TGIF day tomorrow! :)

Thanks everyone. One of the things that made me want to return to Bologna after my first stay there was seeing the food markets. I even have a photo framed in my kitchen from 2001 of one of these food displays.

Definitely one of my favorite Bologna things! I remember buying fish at that very Pescheria Brunelli, to make a Norwegian dinner for my flatmates and friends. Good times.

Beautiful, Girasoli. I think I'm going to need extra room in my suitcase to bring home lots of cheese from Bologna!

You are so right... non ci sono le parole...
I don't know when I've seen such vibrant, fresh, beautiful food.
Beautiful post.

Annie, I was not a good shopper that day. I just took photos but now wish I bought a few of the fruits/vegetables at the market.
Chiocciola, the food markets made me wish I was staying in an apartment. It is a tough choice in Bologna to eat out or cook.
sandra, Bologna and Parma are great places for buying cheese.
dana, I love that expression - added it to my post :)
Thanks again everyone!! I really appreciate your kind comments.

I love your notes on Bologna. We've rented an apartment there for a week in September. You''ve whetted my appetite for more! Grazie,
Nancy
