This year, I thought I would post a couple of green photos from Portovenere, Italy.
I know, you are probably thinking Irish green from Italy? Well, I've never been to Ireland so I don't have any green Ireland photos to share. I did find some green photos of Hawaii, Switzerland, and Italy, but ultimately decided on the photos below for the fun factor.
Lots and lots of olive oil. Yum!

Hey - love your green photo - it's yellow for photohunt this week. I have made my yellow photo layout yesterday. :)
Have an inservice this morning. Had one on Monday afternoon. SO boring!

Thanks everyone. Hope you all had a great day. I still can't get over the fact that there is a pestomat machine in Portovenere, and it is a real machine! I can't remember the cost now, but I don't think it was very much.

dana, yum!! I am soooo jealous! I really really miss good pesto! Wouldn't that be fun to have pestomats in every city?
Jane, this is the only pestomat I have seen. I did a double take when I first walked by it. There are jars of pesto on the 12 shelves. I am pretty sure the pesto is all the same. It cost 10 euros (at the time I was there in 2006) for a jar of pesto. You put the money in, push that red button, and voila! Instant jar of pesto. I didn't buy any because I was staying in a hotel (so no way of making a dinner with the pesto) and I was going to Saluzzo and then Torino before heading back home (so no way of keeping the pesto).
