What a lovely collection of purples. I also posted a photo of a house in Burano. I’m amazed at the color combination they come up with. The purple petunias from Diana’s place look so striking against the pinkish wall.
Purple is also my favorite color, it is the color of my birthstone.

What wonderful photos! I'd love to see this area someday. ; )

These are beautiful! I didn't know that purple was your favorite color - I like it a lot too. These show lots of different hues of it. I love those petunias next to the pink wall.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Purple's my favorite color too! :)

Great selection - I would love to be in Venice for carnivale - have you been? menehune

Once again I am impressed with your photo collection, and the way they come together for these themes. I especially like the lilac house with the green shutters on Burano; it looks so loved...

You certainly have a great collection of purples!!!

Great collection of photos, girasoli.

I love the contrast of the purple flowers and the pink wall in Baur B&B.

On a side note, me and Bill loved meeting you and spending time with you on your beautiful island. Much mahalos:)

Thanks everyone!! I appreciate all of your comments. I find it pretty difficult to take a bad purple photo :)

menehune, no I have not been in Venice for carnivale. It would be too cold for me that time of year and I am working then. It must be fun though.

Mar, isn't Santa Margherita Ligure beautiful?

candi, I also had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for the mamoul treats. They are delicious!! Lucky me!!

Tom and Sally:

would love to visit italy.......do you sell these pics? you could put them into poster size, know that would selll......people like different things and with this purple theme, surely you could make some extra cash, while pleasing others art cravings.
Think about it. we're open to the idea~
