Hi Girasoli, I love sunsets and this is a beautiful shot. Brilliant colors with a nice shimmering sparkle on the water. Great take on this week's theme.
Have a wonderful weekend.

This is a nice sparkle! My uncle used to tease us that you could actually hear the sun sizzle as it hits the water at sunset!! That's what your photo reminded me of.
Have a great weekend!

Wow, thanks so much everyone! Nice to get so many comments on my first day back doing PhotoHunt. This was a very beautiful sunset. i was just lucky to be at the right place at the right time to nab this photo.
Dianne, I wish I was there right now also.
Jenny, I love your uncle's interpretation hearing the sun sizzle at sunset. Glad I was able to bring back a nice memory for you.

the photo is beautiful! I came across your site doing a search on Montefalcione. My relatives were from there as well. Do you have any Martignettis or Iafrates in your family tree?

Thanks again everyone :) Glad you liked the photo. The beautiful scenery helped!
Hi Steve, my great great grandmother's maiden name was Maria Teresa Martignetti. I have been able to trace back a couple of generations using the LDS records from Montefalcione but do not know of any relatives that are living with the last name Martignetti. I don't have any Lafrates that I know of. You may want to leave a comment on my Montefalcione post for others to see in case someone else can help you in your search. Good luck. We may just be related :)
