alpacas

My aunt and I spent a fun afternoon at a friend of a friend's house getting to see their brand new baby alpaca (2 or 3 days old) while I was in Steamboat during my winter vacation.

We also spent a little time visiting some of the young alpacas...

This little guy (or gal) was my favorite! He was so curious, coming right up to me trying to check out my camera!

Aren't they precious?

I just realized today's date! This post has nothing to do with anything Irish... but still, I would like to wish everyone a Happy St. Paddy's Day!!

Oh wow, the baby alpacas look so adorable! Thanks for sharing the pictures (: I think the white one is my favourite!

Having grown up in Asia, I actually have no idea where alpacas live (although I presume it must be somewhere cold!). May I ask where these photos were taken?

Hi Sarah, Thanks! I took these photos right outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I believe alpacas are originally from higher altitude areas of South America. I also like the white one :)

Hi Girasoli, these guys and gals are so cute. They kind of look like llamas! And they have big eyes like the Highland cows. I love the expressions you captured in your photos. And you are very brave to go out in the snow to take their photos. :)

Hope you had a wonderful time in Colorado and that you are having an awesome Spring so far.

How adorable, your photos are adorable! I hope you have a Happy Easter!
