Trenitalia, 24 hours starting at 9 p.m. the 8th (changed from May 25-26, then from June 1-2). RFI (station staff) from 9.01 a.m. to 5 p.m. O.S. ORSA union: these strikes called for Sunday generally have nearly no impact on national trains.
Government regulators ordered this strike called off because it's a local election day in some areas.

General strike: includes trains, 24 hours starting at 9.01 p.m. the 17th, air travel 24 hours, local public transport 24 hours with rush hour exceptions determined locally, ferries to the main islands from 1 hour before first departure, to lesser islands 24 hours. The unions were ( OO.SS. USB, COBAS, CUB - ADESIONE O.S. USB LAVORO PRIVATO ). There appears to have been little effect on trains. The only long-haul trains showing as having been cancelled were IC trains involving Sicily or Liguria. Checks of regional trains showed only spotty cancellations.

4-hour general strike across those dates, with different regions having it on different dates. Some sectors will have 24-hour strikes. There's been government intervention against harbor workers striking on these dates because it's within a short time of a strike of theirs.

November 22, 2013
All airline and airport workers of the unions (CUB CONF. UNITARIA DI BASE, ADESIONE CUB TRASPORTI E FLAICA-CUB), 24 hours. For this and the following, flights to and from Bari are excluded.
