Great night at Book Group

I love our group. We have a reluctant name: The Lunachic's Literary Guild. Last night we met at Lyn's house and talked about "Drop City" by T.C. Boyle. The book is set in the 1970's, in California and Alaska, with a lot of hippie characters blazing around a good plot. I enjoyed it very much but others--not so much. As a Group, we rated it a 7.5 out of 10. Anyway, because of the hippie thing, some of us dressed the part and here's a cute picture of the pre-meeting festivities.

I love all the comments you all left about Kathryn's prom photo--Thanks!

You gals look so cute! And hey, I think I see a shirt I used to wear ... ;)

Congrats on the blog, jan!

Betsy Daley:

Jan,
you know Lee is steppin' out on y'all (and has been for years) She's in my book group too! Maybe we could combine the two groups for a GTG one of these days. Of course we'd have to take a vote of the members of both book groups and who knows how that might come out .

Your blog is awesome!

Ciao!
Betsy
