Photo Hunt--"Thankful"

Here is my father in law, book ended by his 2 sons (my husband Ken is on the right). The occasion is his 100th Birthday! He had just given a very sweet speech saying how thankful he was that so many of his family had gathered for the little party. It was quite a celebration.

100 years! Amazing! I don't think I have ever met someone who is 100 years old, although my grandfather made it to 97.

Barb Cabot:

What a great day that must have been for everyone in attendance. 100 years...now that's something!

This is such a beautiful and heart-warming photo! Blessings to him.

Very sweet! Happy 100th!! A wonderful photo for the theme this week.

Marcia:

And thank you for sharing that - it is a wonderful picture. And how great that you could get there for this milestone birthday.

Jan, what a great photo! And what great timing for your "Thankful" photo. I hope you'll post more about the celebration.

Wow, Jan. He looks very good for a hundred.

That is a great shot! I remember when my grandfather turned 100 - he didn't look nearly as good as your father-in-law! *smile* You're lucky to have been there to celebrate this milestone. I bet that he has some great stories to tell.

That is a great photo! What a wonderful occasion-100 years old!

Awe, Jan. That is a wonderful picture. Wall worthy for sure.

Kathy (Trekcapri):

That is a really special occassion, Jan. Thanks for sharing it!

Jan, what a wonderful, wonderful picture. Enlarge it and hang it on your FILs wall so he can see every day how much he is loved.
