Red is the theme today because it is National Wear Red Day, an awareness day for women and heart disease. So I am wearing red today and posting the photo above of my favorite red poppy. This photo was taken on my spring 2005 trip to Tuscany, where there were fields of red poppies all starting to come into bloom.
