Here is my valentine tribute to that most romantic of cities—Venice. I created this collage out of some drawings, maps and cards that I picked up from our travels there several years ago. I think I was also inspired by these blogs which have had entries lately about Venice, collages and digital scrapbooking.
Happy Valentine's Day!

That collage is absolutely gorgeous! It's amazing how it really captures the essence of Venice without using the usual images of gondolas, masks, etc.
Did you make it digitally or is it a photo of a hard copy collage? I'm so impressed!
Happy Valentine's Day!

Thank you so much. I created it digitally using Photoshop. I scanned the maps, cards and drawings and there's a photo in there, too. The drawing of the door was from a little slip of paper that they gave us to help us find the apartment we had rented - you know how directions and maps are not enough in Venice!

This is so beautiful - I too am impressed. I had no idea such a creation was possible with Photoshop (uh oh, now my only excuse is that I have no talent!)
