My wisteria is just starting to bloom. I love the long drooping flowers that open from the base to the tip. And the bright green color of the foliage works perfectly with the shades of lavender in the flowers. Our wisteria is on a trellis attached to our back fence next to the driveway. I took this photo this morning right as I was leaving. I actually hopped out of the car to snap the photo.

Nice. Now that it has stopped raining, I have noticed the new growth on our rosebushes, too.

That is just so beautiful right now. All of our flowers and plants are still in a deep slumber. I am quite looking forward to spring this year. It is time for some renewal.

How beautiful! I can't imagine having flowering plants right now-it just snowed again last night.

I absolutely love wisteria. How great to have it in your yard!
I bet you will appreciate these wisteria photos from the Villa Cimbrone in Ravello...

I love wisteria. It makes me think of something wonderful and new...like falling in love. I think it's very romantic.
