Restaurants and Daka

Two posts when up on the Slow Travel Talk message board recently that I need to investigate further but I find it difficult to look into stuff for Paris on a hungry stomach (ala 10:30 am stomach - I need a yogurt).

But before I forget - I want to note them.

Daka posted some Paris Observations from his one month trip there that I want to go through. He had been, and still continues to, pepper the board with observations but this seems like a cohesive list.

The other list I want to take a look at is from Monica Pileggi, Restaurants She Enjoyed. I'm always up for adding restaurants to my growing list. But I have to say, for as much as I'm into adding restaurants, the desire to strike out on my own, and perhaps discover some new gem, also grows inside me. It will be different travelling without Chris, the man who makes me plan Saturday night dinner on the previous Sunday. Don't even ask what he does for our vacations.

At some point this summer, I'm going to have to stop noting them here and start updating my Word Notes.
