Hypocrisy in the Media and Political Spin

I tried but just couldn't say it any better. Anyway, if only you watch the first two bits, about Karl Rove and Bill O'Reilly, you'll get what I mean.

Is it possible to get news coverage that doesn't insult my intelligence, that reports the news, and keeps the talking heads at bay?

Other Thinks (5)

I love it!! I am soooo tired of all the hypocrisy and double standards. I am so tired of the high and mighty "we are better than you" attitude. Everyone needs to focus on the issues.

The other day I read one of the articles in the Corriere della Sera online referring to the Palin issue as "la «soap» Sarah Palin". Issues people, issues not how Palin's family is like the Bold and the Beautiful.

Chiocciola:

One of the best clips in Daily Show history and that says a lot! Pretty crazy how the best news coverage comes from a fake news show.

Kim [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Chiocciola, I get all my news from the Daily Show. :D

Girasoli, my big issue, in addition to all you mentioned is the general insult to my intelligence. Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

Hahahaha! I had never heard that saying before. Will start using it!

Kim [TypeKey Profile Page]:

I can't take credit for that. I got it from Judge Judy :D. But it's my new catch phrase - cut the bull and be staight with me. I may not agree with you but I'll definitely respect you.
