17 Hours

In 17 hours, I'll be in surgery. In 24 hours, the tumor should be gone.

I'm scared.

I'm nervous.

Please God, give me let me be okay.

Steph:

You are going to be okay. Now log off of Web MD and get some sleep!

Darling Kimmee,
Please know that everyone here is going to be sending you all of the positive energy in the Universe tomorrow, all day long!
Gone is the operative word...
Hugs and xxxx's,
Brenda

Kim, I will be thinking positive thoughts for you tomorrow. You are going to be okay. Stay Strong.

Eden:

I am and will be thinking of you and sending good healing thoughts your way. Love, prayers, and all the best wishes are with you and your family.

Hey Kim. I'm at Shanon's 'borrowing' a neighbour's wifi signal. I read about your diagnosis on the blog. It is a scary time - my mom is a breast cancer survivor (actually, it was cancer # 2 for her).

Some of the things I learned from her: don't let the cancer take over your life any more than it has too!
Try not to dwell on the 'what ifs' - approach things with the information at hand when it presents itself.
Don't give up living because of the cancer. Mom traveled to Japan after her diagnosis and had a wonderful time - she credits this with helping her through the tough days.
Remain positive!
Don't be afraid to accept the assistance others will offer to ou or their support and love.
Develop a 'team' - you can rely on this team for many things but always remember that they are fighting with you.

I'll be thinking of you as you walk (or bicycle :-)on the road to recovery.

Kim-I'm wishing you the best during your surgery, and am saying a prayer for you right now.

I am so sorry to read about this. Sending prayers and best wishes your way.

Lisa:

As always, you are in my thoughts. I will see you later today...cancer free!!

sandrac:

Kim, you're in my thoughts and all my prayers. As Jerry said, I'm with you (at least in spirit) on your road to recovery!

gloria:

I'm in there in there with you, Kim. Just as I was with my brother's wife, my cousin, and my next door neighbor. I hope you can feel all the thoughts and prayers I'm sending your way.
From one of your SFF (Slow Friends Forever)
