Still Melting...

Well, I've been on my diet for 3 weeks. In the last 2 weeks I've lost another six pounds, for a total of 12 pounds. The pounds are just melting away!

I have recently been wearing a size 12. Like most other women, I have a closet full of clothes. I sometimes buy things that are just a little too small, hoping they will motivate me to lose a little weight. Over the weekend I decided to see if I've lost enough weight to fit into a size 10. WooHoooo! Size 10 fits perfectly! I'm doing a happy dance.

I was so excited I decided to clean out my closet and throw away every piece of size 12 clothing I have. It sure felt good to get rid of them...I'll NEVER be a size 12 again!

I didn't realize what a big surprise I had in store for me. When I was completely done cleaning the closet I had ten pair of size 10 pants that are mostly brand new. I also found many tops that I couldn't wear before because they were fitted...now I can wear them. I also found eleven pair of brand new size 8 pants. I don't even remember buying them. I must have been doing a lot of motivational shopping. So, not only do I have plenty of clothes to wear right now, but I have plenty to wear after I hit my goal weight! I was looking forward to buying new clothes after I lost the weight, but now I'll be able to do it because I want to, not because I have to. That's much more fun.

I still have 15 pounds to go, and cleaning my closet has made me really motivated. I'm feeling better, and I have more energy. It's a total win-win situation. WooHoooo, life is GOOD!

Good for you! Keep up the good work, I'm constantly working on "weight" I'd love to be the size I need to be for health and energy.


Congratulations you've done so well losing that dress size.... you are my inspiration to try and keep a check on my bad life style habits... Have you tried pilates? I've been doing it for a while now and it's definitely toned up my stomach a bit. Keep up the good work! Miriam
