I love to read and plan to share my love of books with my granddaughter, Preslee and any other grandchildren that may come in the future. I’m always on the lookout for nice children’s books so I can have my own little library. I want to teach Preslee that she can go anywhere in a book.
Here is one of the first books I purchased for my library. I found it in a tiny book store in the Dorsoduro area of Venice, Italy. The book is called Guido’s Gondola by Renee Riva. It’s a sweet story about a mouse gondolier as he learns to appreciate the simple things in life.
All my grandparents are gone now, but I have fond memories of each of them for different reasons. Wouldn’t it be nice if I were remembered for my wonderful books?

Cute book! Is it in Italian? No, not a stupid question...it could be in English.
