More blog catch-up today. I made this soup on New Year's Day and it was delicious I think the only changes I made was to use kale for the collard greens and extra black-eyed peas, since that is how it came in the freezer bags. It did need extra liquid but the smoked ham hocks I used gave the soup plenty of flavor.

I just had the last bowl for lunch at work this week; the neighbors got some, there is more in the freezer, a very generous recipe.
