Flying home

We took a late afternoon flight home from Sacramento to Burbank yesterday. For me it was emotional to leave the baby, even tho we are flying back up this coming weekend. It might have been an easier flight if the woman behind us had not spent 2 hours in the bar (trust me, she told the world) and consequently decided to give her seat companion her whole life story, and you all know that this was a 1 hour flight. I thought it was just me until I noticed other heads to the front and sides turning around to check it out.

So concentrating on other things, David grabbed my camera and took this shot of the moon over the clouds out his window - shortly afterwards, on the other side we could see a brilliant burst of orange as the sun set. And a bloody mary helped with the stranger from hell behind me.

The photo s beautiful, Marcia. I am glad the bloody mary helped. I know what you mean about annoying passengers, gee.

Eden:

Nice Shot from the plane window. I know how you feel when its time to leave the baby... :(

It is great that you are able to go back and see your darling grandbaby soon.

Sorry about that passenger from you know where.

I bet you were glad you weren't sitting next to her! I noticed the moon tonight. It was so bright it almost blinded me when I glanced out my window.

Beautiful photo! I'm sorry you had to sit close to passenger from hell but glad that it was a short flight! And I'm very happy you'll be going back to see the baby this weekend.

sheri:

Marcia, what a dreadful way to end such a happy weekend!
If you are flying this weekend, I'm wishing you better passengers.

Anne:

Stunning photo. I'm not a chatter on airplanes, so feel your pain over having to listen to that woman babble out her life story!
