To blog or not to blog?

This blog is so reluctant I never even finished our last big adventure on the Danube River in June 2011. There are a few reasons beyond the my sheer laziness, one being the feeling that my life is just not that interesting, and more importantly, I discovered what I call the Facebook "postcard" - the ability to post a few lines and add a picture, easier, casual, and voila.

But I have some friends and family who are Facebook adverse, or perhaps just Facebook adverse to being friends with me. For them, and also for me, I am going to try and blog a little this trip.

So here we go today: Italy 2012. It has been two years since our last visit to Bella Italia. On this adventure we will visit Venice and the Veneto. This afternoon we are flying British Air (FF miles, AA codeshare) to London, then on to Milan Linate. Taking the train to Verona, 3 nights, then an apartment in Venice for 6 nights. We will pick up a car, head to Bassano del Grappa for 3 nights, and return to Venice for 2 nights to meet up with our friends Shannon & Colleen. Last night is in Milan for our early morning flight home on May 3. Packed and almost ready to go.

My name is Nancy and I too am a reluctant blogger. I always have the best of intentions but no follow-thru.

I look forward to read about your current trip.

Oops! I meant "reading".
