Votive Trees in the Cathedral in Florence

My son took this picture on our trip to Florence in 2002. Our visit was a few days after New Year's and the city was beautifully alight with holiday lights. The Cathedral was dark inside and the votive trees looked like mini Christmas trees.

Wow, that's very cool!

Anne:

I loved the votive trees in Florence! We didn't get into the Duomo last summer, but I took a beautiful photo of my daughter lighting a candle in Ognissanti.

Sandra: Cool was exactly the word my son said when he saw the picture. The votive trees were beautiful and I was surprised when I saw this photo without anyone blocking the trees.

Anne: I'm sure you treasure the photo of your daughter lighting the candle in such beautiful church.

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Very beautiful!

I really enjoyed taking my son to Florence. :)
