This is recipe number thirteen of our Slowtrav baking group from Gina's book Dolce Italiano. I made these on Friday even though we had temperatures hovering around 112F. I shared them with friends during the holiday weekend and they were a big hit! These cookies reminded me a bit of the almond biscotti I usually make during Christmas.

Hi Maria, those look really delicious. No wonder it was a hit. Wow, 112 degrees is pretty hot. I hope it cools down for you.
