We met in kindergarten and were classmates for the next four years. We got married 20 years after that first encounter in a simple ceremony at my parent's house. I wore an organic cotton dress I bought two days before the wedding at a store in Old San Juan named "Poor No More". Iván asked me if he should wear a jacket. I said it would be nice if he did. He purchased one at the last minute.
Don't we look so 1970's?

Sandra, thank you for your kind words. This is one of my favorite photos of me and my kindergarten sweetheart.
I'm feeling much better today and finally I'm able to talk without breaking into a cough. I don't know what I'd do without Robitusin!
