Amy:

Great photo for the prompt! Do they use it for anything (fertilizer?) afterward?

Amy, I read that this is the stuff use to make grappa. It is also used for fodder, fertilizer and to produce a natural dye. I should have added this explanation to the photo but I'm being very lazy this morning.

Kim:

Now that's an aftermath I can get behind!

Now that is a very unusual sight - love the color!

I agree with Kim too. :)

Have a great weekend!

Grappa and fertilizer! Now I understand why I don't like grappa :) Great choice for this week's theme!

Great post for the theme. At what time of the year was this?

Ahhh, good choice of photo for this week. :)

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Maria, ah...so that what happens after . . . Great photo theme selection and interesting to see and learn what happens after the grapes are pressed.

Have a great weekend Maria!

I LOVE you idea for the theme - as Kim says . . . that is an aftermath that gets my FULL approval!

You are soooo lucky. I wish I could be there at the Opolo winery!

Anne:

Neat photos! I really love that shade of purple, I think it would look very pretty in my ensuite!
