Great shot! I can't imagine the quality work and it is done by hand. 'tis a shame that these traditions are dying out.

Hi Maria, cool photo! And perfect choice for this week's theme. I treasure my Burano Lace Table cloths that I purchased in 2007 and seeing this photo makes me treasure them even more!

Nice photo. When we were in Venice, it was for such a short time that we didn't get to any of the other islands. Nice to see photos from there.

What a lovely photo! I wonder if they can tolerate doing such fine work every day, or if their eyes (and backs!) limit the amount they can do. Such painstaking work.
