As some of you may know last August I enrolled in French 101 at my local community college. I had a terrific teacher and great classmates who made learning French interesting and fun.
Last October I told my husband, only half-jokingly, that I wanted to go to Paris for the upcoming Holiday break to practice some of my newly acquired French language skills. Ivan didn’t think I was joking, and as our Christmas present for us, he went ahead and planned for a week in Paris beginning on December 28.
We arrived Monday to a cold and wet Paris. There was the possibility of snow flurries during the day but none were seen. We are renting this apartment in the 16th arrondissement in a nice and quiet residential area.
Here are some our first photos of a postcard-perfect wintry Paris.

Wow, beautiful photos! Why am I jealous of you when I was just in Paris last March? :(
