We recently had a small family get together and decided to take a family portrait. This was the first time I had tried to take a formal family portrait. It was fun and chaos at the same time.

I really like the first photo! That's a lot more telling than a posed one. Nice shots! I am getting us ready to do a family photo this fall, must go with white shirts . . .
Have a great weekend!

I can see the pictures just fine. I don't have TypeKey.
I like the way you came up with a kind of uniform for everyone.

Gosh those are great! I'll have to remember to do that when (if) we ever get together.
I have some very vintage photos up for my Photo Hunt today! I hope you can get a chance to see and leave your link.

Ah, yes! Trying to get more than 3 people to look at the camera and smile together is never an easy task, is it? You did very well and have 2 lovely pictures for your efforts!

Great shots! We always do a big photo on Thanksgiving. The ones when the kids were younger are very funny and best loved, incuding the chaos.
