This week's PhotoHunt topic is hat. Hats to me are rather dated. My father always wore a hat either a fedora or a billed hat similar to baseball hat. I still remember his hat size 7 1/8.
Today, hats are much more utilitarian than stylish. We have several hats that we wear while hiking or working outside in the sunshine. It is also not cold enough to frequently wear anything other than a wool pullover hat.
I dug around and found the photo about of my husband and his straw hiking hat. Look closely - you can probably guess where we were - and you might also see me.

Great hat and even better reflection!

This is such a cool photo! Is that you, in the left side of the shades? Awesome shot.

Hi Marta, cool theme photo selection! Love your husband's straw hat choice! I'll take a guess. Is that Mt. Ranier? I'm not so sure because you've been on so many wonderful hiking adventures. I know you hiked Mt. Whitney also...
Have a great weekend!

I wear hats all the time, but I have no idea what my hat size is. I take it you bought a lot of them?
Marta's reply - Yes, I used to always go to Penney's to buy my dad's work and dress hats. Chambray blue shirts, denim overalls and tan billed hats were his work uniform.

Annie - yes, that is me on the left side trying to sneak out of the picture.
It was taken at Mt. Rainier up on the Skyline Trail. Ah a warm sunny day - I wish it was summer.

That sun, with the hat, looks sooo good right now.
I did Photo Hunters today, too! Hope you get a chance to visit.

Marta that is one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen! I absolutely love the whole progressive theme going on. A distant Mt. Ranier in front of a hiker reflected in the sunglasses of a man taking a selfportrait as two more hikers approach from behind.
Marta's Reply - Thanks Deborah. You know - I almost edited out the two approaching hikers but decided to leave the in for just the reason you mention.
