PhotoHunt: Bridge

Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge

This week's PhotoHunt topic is bridge. The Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge is one of my favorite bridges. Not the Golden Gate. I think it is because of all the great times I had traveling to "The City". It was my escape from the boredom of the valley. My excitement would start as we pulled up to the toll plaza and started up across to the magical city. Here is a photo of it taken from the the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

Yet, another bridge I try to avoid.

Beautiful shot!

I love all the greys in the photo.

The retrofit efforts of the Bay Bridge was on the news today and I was thinking of finding a Bay Bridge photo to post but couldn't find one from my files.

Yours is a great shot of the Bay Bridge.

Nice photo. I also like the one in your previous post about Highway 1.

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Marta, great photo! I really like that angle.

Have a great weekend!

A great shot of a great bridge!

I remember that bridge. But it's been a long time since I was on it.

I love your photo but I was a bit apprehensive driving on that bridge last November.

I remember being on that bridge in major traffic once a long time ago. Thankfully, I was not driving. Great shot of the bridge.

I get that same pitter patter when crossing Treasure Island, and getting that first close glimpse of the skyline!

Love the perspective of this photo.

I love that! It looks so incredibly l-o-n-g.
