In my recent entry "The Strength of Friendship" I mentioned the marvels of friendships which go back 22 years. What can I say, then, of my friendship with a former college roommate at UC and with her father, Holly and Bob, which goes back 40 years? They came all the way from San Francisco in late May to be with us for the Grand Opening of our Genius Loci Country Inn. Real friendships withstand the obstacles of great distance and very different lifestyles...not to mention time zones. A huge thank you to these dear friends!
