On yet another gorgeous Indian summer day we left after a late breakfast for Norcia to enjoy a typical lunch and to stock up on some local products. We often drive up to Norcia throughout the year, but NEVER fail to go in mid-November to enjoy the fall colors surrounding the ancient hill towns, the babbling creeks in the Valnerina...and the art and gourmet shops in Norcia itself.

Inbetween admiring the art and shopping for our cured meats we had lunch at the Boscaiolo: aged local pecorino toasts, zuppa di farro and Casteluccio lentils with hearth cooked sausage followed by a strong espresso
