A LITTLE SURPRISE FROM RIVOIRE

On Christmas Eve, as we sat down to our very special dinner in the newly decorated study with candles aglow, Mar and I found a thoughtful surprise from Maurizio.

As we were walking out of Rivoire after our glorious hot chocolate, I noticed a small transparent box of small, ball-shaped, hand-painted chocolates, a mix of white, milk and dark solid chocolates, each one meticulously decorated. I had expressed my awe at their beauty.

We walked out together and during the few minutes we separated at the Mercato del Porcellino, Maurizio ran back and purchased them, unknown to us.

What a lovely and thoughtful surprise!
