
At Genius Loci we are promoting and supporting products of various local producers of excellent goumet preserves and sauces. The various producers are all small, usually family based, outfits specialized in only a few different products based soley on availability and local tradition.

I have been having fun making little "caps" for the various jars from scraps of the materials (mostly from Austria or South Tyrol) I have used in the past for my Christmas crafts.
Some of the most tempting jars have names like "Gel di Sagrantino", "Salsa Pinturicchio" or our own "Salsa Genius Loci", an outstandingly delicious concoction of truffles, porcini mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, capers and chili peppers, or our own velvety "Genius Loci Preserve", a truffle-laced , peach honey we serve with various local cheeses during our wine and olive oil tastings.
Again, our goal is to support and promote these excellent, dedicated small artisan producers of delicious and genuine gourmet products.
