As we readied our wine/extra virgin olive oil tasting event, the picnic buffet was brought to the front of the garden to be served immediately after the tastings

The lag-behinds of the group - those perhaps who had an extra glass or two of Sagrantino?
So, it was a very special occasion this weekend at Genius Loci: the large Stanford Alumni group on an Umbria Walking Tour spent several hours with us for a fun wine/olive oil tasting and a picnic at Genius Loci on their way from Bevagna to Montefalco. It was lovely meeting them, most from my California...some from Long Beach!
