ONE OF THOSE RARE MOMENTS

A few days ago Maurizio and I found ourselves in a luxurious moment of having the time to focus not on the problem of the moment, or on my ailing knee, or on jobs which needed immediate attention...but on a calm reflection of how much we have done these last four or five years at Genius Loci, taking it from an antique run-down, albeit charming, farmhouse to an inviting inn of bold character and with a true "spirit of place".

Armed with our camera, free-time and a bursting awareness of the fruits of our vision followed by years of intense labor, we walked around the property taking a few photos of the the general setting:

It was indeed one of those rare moments of appreciation of just how far we have come with what was once little more than a vague idea - a vision - of intention!

Donna:

Mary, you and Maurizio are justifiably proud. What a wonderfully beautiful, tranquil place you have made.

Congratulations!

Everything looks lovely. We can't wait to come back!

sandrac:

Lovely photos, Mary! You must be so proud of the beautiful home you've created.

Mary-your photos are gorgeous and John and I dream about returning for a longer stay. Hope you are feeling better.

Brad'll Do It:

Absolutely stunning photos of the property, Mary! They can't capture the magnificence of the 180-degree view of the valley, but they certainly capture the grace and gentile nature of Genius Loci. Beautifully done.

An appreciative thank you for your supportive comments. Making Genius Loci better and better is a daily goal of Maurizio, Michael and me. We HAVE indeed come a long way from our intial idea and vision.
It is precisely clients and friends like you who make it all worthwhile and give us the necessary inspiration.
Mary

I agree with Brad'll Do It. Stunning views! How lucky you both are!!
